BC.Game Review for African Players

Posted on 23 April 2024

BC.Game Review for African Players (2026): Ghana Licence, Nigeria and Kenya Status, Crypto and Bonuses

BC.Game is one of the biggest crypto casinos in the world, and unlike most of its rivals, it’s been actively seeking African licences. It announced Kenyan licences in August 2025, launched bcbet.ng in Nigeria in April 2026, and went live at bcgame.com.gh in Ghana in July 2026 after approval from the Gaming Commission of Ghana. It also sponsors Nigerian club Kwara United.

Its history is more complicated. In November 2024, a court in Curaçao declared companies behind BC.Game bankrupt over unpaid player winnings; BC.Game gave up its Curaçao licence weeks later and now operates internationally under a licence from Anjouan. This BC.Game review looks at what it offers African players, where it’s actually licensed, and where we’d be careful. Every fact was checked in October and November 2026, and where sources disagree, we show each version.

Disclosure: this review contains an affiliate link to BC.Game’s Ghanaian site only, where its licence approval by the Gaming Commission of Ghana has been reported. We don’t link to BC.Game in Nigeria, where we couldn’t find bcbet.ng on the Lagos register, or in Kenya, where the regulator hasn’t published a 2026 register. This review isn’t legal advice.

📌 BC.Game for African players at a glance

  • Ghana: launched at bcgame.com.gh on 29 July 2026 after Gaming Commission of Ghana approval; BestCasinosAfrica cites online casino licence GCCA26F3124X, held by Quantis Point Ltd.
  • Nigeria: bcbet.ng launched in April 2026 with a reported Lagos (LSLGA) sports betting and casino licence, but it wasn’t on the LSLGA register when we checked on 20 and 26 October 2026.
  • Kenya: Blockdance Africa Limited received BCLB public gaming and bookmaker licences in August 2025; Kenya’s regulator hasn’t published a 2026 register.
  • International licence: Anjouan, after BC.Game withdrew from Curaçao in December 2024.
  • Product: thousands of casino games, about 70 provably fair Originals, a sportsbook, and 100+ cryptocurrencies.
  • History: a 2024 Curaçao bankruptcy ruling over more than $2 million in unpaid player winnings, which BC.Game disputed.

⭐ Our verdict: 6.6/10 overall

BC.Game deserves credit for doing what most crypto casinos won’t: applying for licences in African markets. Its product is huge, its Originals are provably fair, and its Ghanaian site is now approved by the regulator. But its track record of unpaid winnings, its exit from Curaçao, and gaps between what it has announced and what public registers show mean we only recommend it where its local licence is clear. Our scores differ by country:

✅ What we like

  • ✅ Approved by the Gaming Commission of Ghana
  • ✅ Actively seeking licences in Kenya and Nigeria
  • ✅ Thousands of games and about 70 provably fair Originals
  • ✅ 100+ cryptocurrencies, plus local options in licensed markets
  • ✅ Rakeback and VIP rewards

⚠️ What could be better

  • ⚠️ 2024 Curaçao bankruptcy over unpaid player winnings
  • ⚠️ International site now runs on an Anjouan licence
  • ⚠️ Claimed Lagos licence not found on the register
  • ⚠️ Welcome bonus paid in a locked BCD token with heavy wagering
  • ⚠️ Fined in the Netherlands and warned in Australia in the past
⚠️ Use the local site, not bc.game: BC.Game’s licence approvals in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria apply to its local businesses and domains. The international site, bc.game, runs under its Anjouan licence. If you play from Ghana, use bcgame.com.gh; elsewhere in Africa, check your local regulator’s register first.

🏢 Who runs BC.Game?

BC.Game’s corporate history is more tangled than most. According to iGaming Business, the site was run by Blockdance until April 2024, when control passed to Small House, which had acquired the operator in February 2024. In March 2026, Kar Kheng Giam was appointed chief executive, and Adrian Chen, BC.Game’s senior legal counsel, has fronted its African launches. In Africa, the brand works through local entities: Blockdance Africa Limited in Kenya, according to The Star, and Quantis Point Ltd in Ghana, according to BestCasinosAfrica.

⚠️ BC.Game’s track record: what you should know

Before you deposit with any BC.Game site, it’s worth knowing the background. These events are reported by iGaming Business, the Curaçao Chronicle and SBC News:

DateEvent
October 2022Australia’s ACMA warns Blockdance to stop offering online casino games to Australians
22 April 2024BC.Game receives a new-style Curaçao licence
October 2024Player advocacy group SBGOK files bankruptcy petitions over more than $2 million in unpaid winnings
November 2024Curaçao’s Court of First Instance declares Small House and Blockdance bankrupt
21 November 2024BC.Game says it “strongly disagree[s]” with the rulings and will appeal
5–6 December 2024BC.Game withdraws its Curaçao licence, citing an “increasingly hostile” environment
2025Operates under an Anjouan licence; Belize’s regulator says the company used to register it didn’t exist; loses its UK white-label arrangement, and its Leicester City deal ends
August 2025Curaçao court trustee files to rescind the bankruptcy, citing “limited prospects for recovering the outstanding $2.5 million in player claims”

BC.Game’s position is that the claims “lack sufficient supporting evidence”, that it pointed to self-referrals and multiple accounts in some cases, and that it “had no issues with liquidity or financial stability”. The Curaçao Chronicle also reported claims that some problems came from a system bug, and unconfirmed reports that BC.Game considered settling some cases out of court. Separately, the Dutch regulator fined Blockdance €840,000 for operating BC.Game in the Netherlands without a licence, iGaming Business reported.

Some 2026 reports date the bankruptcy ruling and Curaçao exit to 2025; iGaming Business’s contemporaneous reports from December 2024 place them in November and December 2024, which is the timeline we use.

The practical takeaway: BC.Game’s licensed African businesses are subject to local regulators, which is a real improvement. But on its international site, a dispute over winnings would go to a regulator in Anjouan, not in your country.

🇬🇭 Ghana: approved

BC.Game announced on 29 July 2026 that it had gone live at bcgame.com.gh after receiving approval from the Gaming Commission of Ghana (GCG), making Ghana its third regulated market after Mexico and Nigeria, iGaming Business reported. “BC.GAME intends to build a transparent and long-term presence in Ghana,” Adrian Chen told win.gg. Launch coverage didn’t give a licence number; BestCasinosAfrica (updated 23 October 2026) lists online casino licence GCCA26F3124X, held by Quantis Point Ltd. All GCG licences issued for 2026 expire on 31 December 2026, so check the 2027 list early next year.

🇳🇬 Nigeria: announced, not on the register

On 13 April 2026, iGaming Business reported that BC.Game had launched in Nigeria at bcbet.ng with a sports betting and casino licence from the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LSLGA), transacting in naira. “Nigeria is home to one of the most passionate sports fanbases in the world,” CEO Kar Kheng Giam said. Goal has also cited an Ekiti State licence. However, when AffSupreme checked the LSLGA’s published register on 20 and 26 October 2026, BC.Game and bcbet.ng weren’t listed. That may be an administrative gap, but until the register shows it, we don’t link to bcbet.ng. BC.Game is not on Lagos’s illegal operators list, unlike Stake.

BC.Game has also invested in Nigerian football: it became main sponsor of NPFL club Kwara United for the 2025/26 season, with its logo on home and away kits, around the stadium and on club media, SBC News reported.

🇰🇪 Kenya: licensed under the old regime

In August 2025, BC.Game announced that its local entity, Blockdance Africa Limited, had received a public gaming licence and a bookmaker’s off-the-course licence from Kenya’s Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB), valid through 2026, The Star reported. “Kenya has always been at the heart of Africa’s gaming culture,” a spokesperson said. Since then, Kenya has replaced the BCLB with the Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA). Licences on the 2025/26 list were valid until 24 September 2026, and the GRA hadn’t published a 2026 register by mid-October 2026, so no Kenyan operator’s 2026 licence can be independently checked. Kenya’s 2025 Act also bans the use of crypto for gambling, per iGaming Times, which matters for a crypto-first brand. We don’t link to any Kenyan operator until the register is published.

🌍 Elsewhere in Africa

In other African countries, BC.Game players would use the international bc.game site under its Anjouan licence. We found no other African licences, and BC.Game wasn’t on Abuja’s FCT casino list in our earlier research. In South Africa, online casinos are illegal under the National Gambling Act whatever the operator’s licence.

🌍 Why BC.Game is targeting Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya

BC.Game’s African push follows the money. According to H2 Gambling Capital, cited by iGaming Business, Nigeria generated about $1.17 billion in interactive gross win in 2025, projected to reach nearly $2.5 billion by the end of 2030, and Ghana’s online gross win reached $903.5 million in 2025, up 24% from $729.8 million a year earlier. “Ghana has developed a reputation as one of West Africa’s most stable and maybe commercially attractive markets,” said Peter Kesitilwe, CEO of the African iGaming Alliance, when BC.Game launched there.

Those markets are also tightening up. Nigeria’s states now license operators under the Supreme Court’s 2024 ruling, and Lagos and 24 other states declared Stake illegal in September 2026. Ghana’s regulator publishes an annual list of licensed operators. Kenya has a new regulator and new rules requiring foreign sites to block Kenyans. For a brand like BC.Game, local licences are becoming the price of access.

🎰 BC.Game review: the games

BC.Game’s library is vast, though counts vary by source and site. OwnGoal Nigeria (May 2026) describes 10,000+ casino games on the international site, while noting that counts range from several thousand upwards; Goal’s Kenya review lists over 3,000 titles, including themed and jackpot slots, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, live dealer games and poker rooms. Local sites may carry a smaller, locally approved selection.

CategoryWhat to expect
SlotsThousands of titles, including jackpot slots
Live casinoLive dealer blackjack, roulette and baccarat
BC OriginalsAbout 70 in-house, provably fair games, including Crash, Crash Trenball, Plinko, Mines, Dice and Limbo (OwnGoal Nigeria)
Sportsbook40+ sports in Kenya, including football, basketball and tennis, with live betting and virtuals (Goal)
EsportsDota 2, League of Legends and Call of Duty, with streams for most titles (Goal Kenya)

One notable gap: OwnGoal Nigeria says BC.Game doesn’t offer Spribe’s Aviator, the most popular crash game in Africa. Its own Crash and Crash Trenball fill that role.

BC Originals and provably fair play

BC Originals are in-house games whose results can be verified. Before each round, the casino commits to a hidden server seed by showing you its hash; your own client seed and a counter are combined with it to produce the result; and afterwards the server seed is revealed so you can check that nothing was changed. That proves the round was honest. It doesn’t change the house edge, and it doesn’t help you predict the next result.

Crash: the odds of reaching a multiplier

Our sources don’t publish house edges for BC.Game’s Originals, so the table below is an illustration assuming a 99% return to player, similar to the roughly 1% edge The Spike reports for Stake’s Crash. The chance of reaching a target is about 0.99 divided by the target:

Cash-out targetRough chance of reaching it
1.50xAbout 66%
2.00xAbout 49.5%
10.00xAbout 9.9%
100.00xAbout 1%

Illustration only (chance ≈ RTP ÷ target). Check each game’s information panel for its actual RTP.

Crash Trenball lets you bet on whether a round lands above or below a line, rather than cashing out manually, but the maths is the same. “Predictor” bots and Telegram signal sellers for BC.Game crash games are scams.

🎁 BC.Game bonuses: different in every market

BC.Game’s bonuses differ sharply between its international site and its local sites, so it’s important to read the offer on the site you’ll actually use.

SiteWelcome offer (as reported)Key termsSource
International (bc.game)180%, 240%, 300% and 360% on the first four depositsPaid in BCD, a locked bonus token; heavy wagering, reported inconsistentlyOwnGoal Nigeria (May 2026)
KenyaUp to 470% across four deposits, plus 5 free bets per deposit10x wagering on accumulators at odds of 1.50+Goal Kenya
GhanaRakeback-style reward, “up to 500%”, about GHS 1 back per GHS 500 wageredNo wageringBestCasinosAfrica (Oct 2026)
Ghana (other source)180% to 360%Not statedCasino Guide Ghana (Jul 2026)

Two conclusions follow. First, the big percentages on the international site come with locked BCD bonus funds and heavy wagering, so they’re worth far less than they look. Second, in Ghana, the reward BestCasinosAfrica describes is small but has no wagering, which is better than a large bonus you can’t realistically clear. Open the Promotions page on bcgame.com.gh before relying on any figure.

What 10x wagering on accumulators costs

Take Goal’s Kenyan terms. Suppose you receive a KES 2,000 bonus with 10x wagering: that’s KES 20,000 of accumulator bets at odds of 1.50 or more per leg. Accumulators compound the bookmaker’s margin on every leg, so a three-leg slip at a 5% margin per leg carries an effective margin of roughly 14%. On KES 20,000 of such bets, the expected cost is about KES 2,700, more than the bonus itself. The bonus can still pay off if you get lucky, but on average it doesn’t.

Rakeback maths: what “GHS 1 per GHS 500” means

BestCasinosAfrica describes BC.Game Ghana’s reward as roughly GHS 1 back for every GHS 500 wagered. That’s 0.2% of your turnover. If you play a game with a 1% house edge, you lose about GHS 5 on average for every GHS 500 you bet, and get GHS 1 back, so your expected loss falls from GHS 5 to about GHS 4. On a slot with a 4% edge, the expected loss falls from GHS 20 to about GHS 19. Rakeback is a small, real discount, with no wagering attached, but it never makes the games profitable.

Rakeback and VIP

BC.Game’s VIP Club spans dozens of levels grouped into badges, with daily rakeback on bets and weekly and monthly cashback, according to OwnGoal Nigeria. Rakeback returns a slice of the house edge on every bet, win or lose. It’s genuinely useful for regular players, but always smaller than what the house edge takes, so it reduces your losses rather than turning them into profit.

💳 BC.Game payments for African players

BC.Game started as a crypto casino and still leans that way. OwnGoal Nigeria counts Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum and more than 100 other coins on the international site, with crypto deposits from about $1 and crypto withdrawals in minutes to hours, though large wins can be held longer. Local sites add local money:

SiteLocal payments (as reported)Source
Ghana (bcgame.com.gh)Not confirmed in our sources; check the cashier for MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash and AirtelTigo—
Nigeria (bcbet.ng)Transactions in nairaiGaming Business / iGaming Future (Apr 2026)
KenyaM-Pesa, minimum deposit KES 1,390, no fees; “instant” on mobileGoal Kenya
International (bc.game)Crypto only; naira only via third-party on-rampsOwnGoal Nigeria

On the international site, African players have to buy crypto first, usually through an exchange or a peer-to-peer platform, and pay spreads on the way in and out. Stablecoins such as USDT avoid price swings but still carry network fees, and sending on the wrong network can mean losing funds permanently.

Crypto gambling and African law

  • Kenya: the Gambling Control Act 2025 bans crypto and credit for gambling, per iGaming Times. A licensed Kenyan operator should take M-Pesa, not crypto.
  • Nigeria: licensed Lagos operators such as Bet9ja and 1xBet accept USDT, so crypto isn’t banned, but using crypto doesn’t make an unlicensed site legal.
  • Ghana: play on bcgame.com.gh in cedis where the cashier allows it, and keep records of crypto transactions.

Withdrawals and verification

Expect identity checks before withdrawals, especially on local sites, where regulators require KYC. On the international site, OwnGoal says crypto withdrawals take minutes to hours, with longer holds on large wins. Given BC.Game’s history of disputed withdrawals, withdraw winnings regularly rather than leaving a large balance on the site, and keep screenshots of your transactions.

⚽ BC.Game sportsbook

BC.Game has been pushing into sports betting, including a football-themed activation at a major industry event in June 2026, AGBrief reported. Goal’s Kenya review lists more than 40 sports, with football, basketball and tennis leading, 1X2 and over/under markets, live betting and virtual football, basketball and tennis. It also covers esports such as Dota 2, League of Legends and Call of Duty, with streams for most titles. The Kwara United sponsorship and the Nigerian and Ghanaian launches both emphasised football, the sport most African players bet on.

For accumulator bettors, remember the Kenyan bonus terms: qualifying bets must be accumulators with selections at odds of 1.50 or more. If you’d rather bet singles, the bonus may not suit you.

🔒 Using crypto safely at any casino

  1. Buy from a reputable platform and keep your own records of what you paid in local currency.
  2. Check the network: USDT exists on several networks (TRC20, ERC20, BEP20 and others); the deposit screen tells you which to use.
  3. Copy, don’t type, the address and check the first and last characters after pasting.
  4. Send a small test amount first before a large deposit.
  5. Withdraw to a wallet you control, and turn on two-factor authentication on both the casino and your wallet.
  6. Never share your seed phrase. No casino support agent needs it.

🔎 How to check BC.Game’s licence yourself

  • Ghana: open the Gaming Commission of Ghana’s list of licensed operators and look for the online casino entry; BestCasinosAfrica gives GCCA26F3124X (Quantis Point Ltd).
  • Nigeria: search the LSLGA’s published list of licensed operators for BC.Game or bcbet.ng; also check the regulator of your own state.
  • Kenya: the GRA hadn’t published a 2026 register by mid-October 2026; ask on 0800 723 770 whether Blockdance Africa Limited holds a current licence.
  • Everywhere: match the company name and licence number in the site’s footer to the register. An Anjouan licence on its own doesn’t make a site legal in your country.

📱 BC.Game app

Sources disagree. OwnGoal Nigeria says there’s an Android APK on the official site, iOS users add the site to their home screen as a web app, and there’s no listing on Google Play or the App Store. Goal’s Kenya review says apps are available for Android and iOS. Whichever applies to your site, download only from the official local domain (bcgame.com.gh in Ghana), never from links in Telegram or WhatsApp groups.

💬 Customer support

OwnGoal Nigeria and Goal Kenya both list 24/7 live chat and email; Goal says live chat replies are instant and email within 24 hours. OwnGoal notes there’s no Nigeria-specific phone line. If you have a problem on a licensed local site, you can also complain to its regulator: the Gaming Commission of Ghana in Ghana, or the GRA in Kenya (0800 723 770).

🧭 Responsible gambling

Licensed local sites must offer responsible gambling tools and, where they exist, connect to national self-exclusion schemes. The international site’s tools aren’t linked to African schemes. Crash games and Originals are extremely fast, and crypto balances can feel less like real money, so set a budget in your local currency before you play, use deposit limits and take breaks.

🔐 BC.Game review: is it safe?

Trust signalWhat we found
Local licence in Ghana✅ GCG approval reported; GCCA26F3124X per BestCasinosAfrica
Local licence in Nigeria⚠️ Announced (Lagos), but not on the LSLGA register in October 2026
Local licence in Kenya⚠️ BCLB licences from 2025; GRA 2026 register unpublished
International licence⚠️ Anjouan; registering company questioned by Belize’s regulator
Player disputes❌ Declared bankrupt in Curaçao in 2024 over more than $2 million in unpaid winnings (disputed)
Other regulatory history❌ Dutch €840,000 fine; ACMA warning in Australia
Provably fair games✅ BC Originals

Our view: bcgame.com.gh, as a GCG-approved site with a local regulator behind it, is a reasonable choice for Ghanaian players. Elsewhere, we’d use an operator whose licence we can confirm on a public register.

🗓️ Your first week at BC.Game Ghana: a sensible plan

  1. Day 1: register at bcgame.com.gh, not bc.game, and complete identity checks straight away so withdrawals aren’t delayed later.
  2. Set limits: choose a weekly deposit limit in cedis before you deposit anything.
  3. Read the offer: open the Promotions page and check whether rewards come as cash, rakeback or locked bonus funds, and what wagering applies.
  4. Small first deposit: try a small amount using the cashier’s local or crypto option, and note how long it takes to arrive.
  5. Test a withdrawal: withdraw a small amount early so you know the process and timing before you have a large balance.
  6. Try Originals carefully: if you play Crash or Plinko, use small stakes and modest targets, and stop when your session budget is gone.
  7. End of week: compare what you’ve spent with your budget, and keep screenshots of every transaction.

Testing a withdrawal early matters more at BC.Game than at most casinos, given its history of disputed payouts. A licensed local site with a working, tested withdrawal route is the best protection you have.

Compared with Stake, BC.Game is clearly further ahead in Africa: it has a Ghanaian approval and Kenyan licences, and while its Lagos licence isn’t yet visible on the register, it’s not on Nigeria’s illegal list. Compared with established local operators, though, it has a weaker track record on paying players.

Crash games and Originals are very fast, and crypto can make losses feel less real. Set a budget in your own currency before you play, never chase losses, and stop if gambling stops being fun. Warning signs include borrowing to gamble, using money meant for rent, food or school fees, and hiding gambling from family.

🏁 Final verdict: BC.Game review for African players

BC.Game is a giant crypto casino that’s making a genuine effort to be licensed in Africa: approved in Ghana, licensed under Kenya’s old regime, and with an announced Lagos licence that we couldn’t yet find on the register. Its game library is huge, its Originals are provably fair, and its Ghanaian site has a local regulator behind it. Against that, it has a 2024 Curaçao bankruptcy over unpaid winnings, an Anjouan licence for its international site, and bonuses paid in locked tokens with heavy wagering. Our score is 6.6/10 overall and 7.4/10 for bcgame.com.gh. If you’re in Ghana, use the local site and withdraw regularly; elsewhere, choose an operator whose licence you can confirm.
